Program Manager–

Ward 5 is operated by a small staff team, and supported by many volunteers, including our Board of Directors.

We are supported by our:

Program Manager – who operates all aspects of our programs, including the daily purchase and planning of meals for the children and seniors’ programs.  They are responsible for networking within the Community, along with community events, programs, and referral and resource services.

Cook – who completes the meal preparation for the programs held here at Ward 5 on a daily basis. Our amazing cook prepares both children’s and seniors’ lunches Monday to Friday, along with preparing our Meals to Wheels three days a week, provided to three seniors’ manors in the city.

Youth Counselors – We have four Program staff who are responsible for our child and youth programs, such as: Breakfast program, hot lunch program, before-and-after school activities, which include swimming, skating and gym activities. Our staff offer a safe and fun environment for children enrolled in our fall/spring and summer program.

Special Staff – Throughout the year, Ward 5 hires staff for various programs and projects. These people bring many skills and new dimensions to our work
